The most amazingly thoughtful and thought provoking film I have ever seen. I can’t wait for the world to watch.

The Other is incredibly potent and a model of true, transformative healing that the world desperately needs right now. It not only made me look at the conflict with new eyes, it forced me to ask myself questions about what I’ve been taught and what I believe about radical forgiveness. I’m really grateful it exists and that more and more people will get to see it.

The Other is like water for a thirsty, dying soul.

The film’s world-building is masterful. Everyone who has seen this is blown away.

“This film is truly a must-see for anyone in the conflict for a way forward versus endlessly bickering about its origins and who’s to blame. I haven’t felt the same about a film since viewing Tinghir-Jerusalem almost a decade ago.

I feel very raw after seeing “The Other”. The film captured so many different stories and elements. I want the ability to share this with everyone I know.

I don’t know how there could be a dry eye in the theater. You take very complex issues, and you go through and somehow make it so human.

I have been struggling with the divisiveness of this conflict for years. This movie was so powerful and healing for me to watch. It gave me so much hope for the future. I had a cathartic experience watching the film.

This film helped me move past the events of October 7th in a way that honors humanity on each side of the wall without feeling like I’m betraying any part of my identity.

A unique film which does what very few documentaries do: take a complex situation and show it’s depth rather than try to simplify it. The richness of human experience, historic reference and difference in points of view by both Palestinians and Israelis is second to none and a rare look at the humanity of both sides.

An extraordinary film that felt nothing short of transformative. These are vital, deeply human stories, the kind we all need to sit with and to truly hear. It’s a gift and it stays with you.

I think it’s probably one of the most important films of the century that every Arab, Jew — f* it, human — needs to see.

It was so moving that I am feeling a ripple effect the next day.

The Other is fair, balanced, thoughtful and respectful to both sides- a difficult endeavor to accomplish and one that takes courage, especially with this specific conflict.

Revolutionary – a completely different approach to think about the conflict, with a level of nuance that is excellent.

Deeply motivating, impactful, and mind bending. It was captivating from beginning to end, I was holding my breath and crying. I see this movie leaving a huge impact, hopefully bringing more peace to our troubled world.

I had to keep checking my own prejudices as I watched it, which is rare for a film to be able to do.

Rather than telling me what to think, it guided me to reflect on my own limitations of connection. The Other unlocks the truth of the human spirit in us all. 

This moved every part of my soul.

This movie chooses hope. It chooses to examine genuine love and connection between groups that normally do not get visibility as having partnership and connection.
